Review/ One Man Army and the undead quartet: "Grim Tales"
TobiasIn only 4 years of existence, ONE MAN ARMY and the undead quartet have made an impressive entry on the metal scene, gradually building an undeniable status – which they now confirm with their excellent third album Grim Tales.
For those who know their first two albums, Grim Tales follows straight in the footsteps of its predecessors: Every song is clearly delineated and doesn't sound repetitive at all, contrary to what some people could fear in this part of the metal genre. I personally enjoy the songs “Saint Lucifer”, “Dominator Of the Flesh” and “Make Them Die Slowly” whose titles already indicate that the lyrics are in the Death Metal vein.
Listeners will be surprised to find themselves repeating the words after only a few listens. Grim Tales blows your head away with impressive drums and amazes as well with intelligent guitar solos.
ONE MAN ARMY and the undead quartet´s albums will soon be considered metal classics.
