Review/ Japanische Kampfhörspiele: "Live In Trier"

img  Tobias

Japanische Kampfhörspiele is a real underground Grind Death Metal phenomenon hailing from Germany. They have been playing for more than ten years and released several self-produced albums & several split CDs.

Live In Trier is a 6 track EP recorded in concert 2004… it was about time their stage performance was properly documented! The sound is not that great, but this awards a special raw connotation to these Grind-Death pieces. The lyrics are in German & the packaging is really well designed; so I´ll advised you not “burn your money” as the band suggest in one of their song (“Verbrennt euer Geld”) but to invest a few Euros on this release. Japanische Kampfhörspiele definitely deserve to be more than underground.
