Review/ Icon in Me: "Human Museum"
TobiasHuman Museum is the first album from this Russian/Swedish band originally founded by guitarist D. Frans. Two highly experienced musicians, Tony JJ for the Vocals (ex-Mnemic, M.A.N, Transport league, C-187) and Morten as Drummer (Scarve, Soilwork, Hatesphere, The Arcane Order Submission) have added their services to this talented Guitarist. And Icon in Me have already made a remarkable entry on the Russian scene with their Modern Metal after a successful and staggering support slot for Machine Head in Moscow.
D. Frans´ crew are mixing several styles: Harcore, Trash, Death, Heavy, but Hardcore prevails throughout the album (noticeable in Tony JJ performance). Several really great songs make up the outlines of “Human Museum”: “That Day, That Sorrow” (Video Clip available on the web), “Empty hands”, “Moments”, “To The End”...
It is hard to believe that Icon in Me have managed to reach all this in just a few months of existence. The stability of the Line-Up will be decisive for their future. It is certainly no surprise that such a band should be acclaimed in cold Russia. This is a striking first album.
