Scheel back to school

David Scheel may not be a household name in Europe or even the States, but in his native Australia, he's a star. In fact, even somewhat of a sensation, as he was the youngest musician ever to appear in the Who's Who in Music. That was back in 1985 and after bringing his satirical show "Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player" to over 30 countries, Scheel has decided it was about time to give back something of the experience he made on the road. In an innovative project, he will teach children of a Massachusetts school in the morning and play at a fund raising event in the evening, designed to collect money for local and/or amateur musicians. The event will be sponsored by ShirleyArts! Inc., a community-orientated group aiming to promote arts education and entertainment. It's a nice move by Scheel and a good way of showing that charity. education, good music and business can go hand in hand.
