In the wake of the album, Midori will also be touring extensively over the next couple of months. Planned are concerts in Trier (29.2.), Nienburg (3.3.), Hamburg (4.3.), Essen (10.5.), Rottenburg (11.5.) and Berlin (12.5.). Following that, Midori will head off to London, where the London Symphonic Orchestra has dedicated an „Artist Portrait“ to her. As part of the program, Midori will perform recitals, give workshops and answer the public's questions in a debate session focussing on contemporary music and musical education.
The program for her upcoming concerts, by the way, wil not consist of the material for the new CD. Instead, Midori will present a combinination of 20th century and classical works: Schnittke, Shostakovich, Beethoven, Penderecki, MacMillan and John Adams.
