Record-breaking: 24 new releases on Afe Records!
We first thought it was a printing error or something of the sort. Then we found it improbable. Even Afe Records founder Andrea Marutti admits: "I know, 24 releases all together is pure crazyness..." Now, we are slowly getting to terms with this creative splurge - and actually looking forward to a bunch of great new releases by talented artists (some of them including some definite tokafi favourites).
Included in the package are:
Pholde, Cordell Klier, Mathieu
Ruhlmann, Mark Hamn (a wonderful melange of acoustic sounds, field
recordings and electronics), Horchata and Cria Cuervos. And then there
are some publications by Andrea himself, under various disguises, such
as "Never Known" and "The Afeman", following hot on the heels of his first CD under his own name after years spent in the realms of experimental music.
Is this worth an entry in the Guiness Book of Records? We'll see. Until
the jury decides, here's Andrea's final remark: " Working on this new
wild bunch of items has been a real pleasure for us, we truly love each
of them and hope you will appreciate our efforts."
