MoHa!: Take a One-way Ticket To CandylandThe dynamic duo of MoHa! is back with yet another sonambulantly screaming sonic strike. Only months after their well-received 7'' tour de force „Jeff Carey's MoHa!“, Anders Hana and Morten J. Olsen are back with a new full-length on their traditional homebase Rune Grammofon Records. Described by the label as „slightly more structured“, yet still propelled by their unique own brand of „unhinged fire and creative spark“, „One-way Ticket To Candyland“ looks set to further increase the band's reputation in terms of unsettling noise and confrontational improvisation. Despite their full-on, uncompromising take-no-prisoners approach, the band have achieved an unusual degree of fame in their native Norway, where they've even been labelled „the future of Rock“ - a slightly rediculous claim, admittedly, but one which perfectly demonstrates the amazing cross-over success Hana and Olsen have enjoyed ever since first hitting the scene in the face with their „Raus aus Stavanger“ („Leaving Stavanger“) debut CD.
Their relentless touring activity has been at the heart of their appeal. Grounded by a highly physical combination of Drums, Supercollider 3, Guitar and Keyboards, MoHa! have drawn from anything between the energy of Rock and the frenzy of deafening electro-acoustic improv to arrive at a bustling stage sound the BBC once labelled „a kind of arhythmically funky heavy metal musique concrete, sourced from electric guitar, drums and a laptop.“ As „One-way Ticket To Candyland“ is hitting mailorder and shops, the band continues to tour and perform, with concerts in Denmark, Norway, Sweden scheduled for September, before embarking for the „Avant Festival“ in Poland's Wroclaw.
„One-way Ticket To Candyland“ will be available both as a regular CD and a limited 500-copy Vinyl LP with a luxurious 350g sleeve.
