Best Brit Battle

img
It's hard to believe in times like these, but it is near to impossible finding anything on this years classical Brit Awards. Nothing on the pages of the BPI, nothing on the Brits' internet service, nothing anywhere else. At least, classic fm has published the list for the "Best Album Awards", a public contest in which listeners in the UK can participate. Leading the field this year is Katherine Jenkins (our southern gal in the picture, whose milkshake is definitely better than yours!) with nominations for both her first releases (the somewhat obviously titled "Premiere"and "Second Nature" - come on, you can do better than that!). Further contestents are:

Aled Jones "The Christmas Album"
Duel "Duel"
James Galway "Wings of Song"
Libera "Free"
Ludivico Einaudi "Una Mattina"
The Sixteen/Harry Christophers "Renaissance"
Bryn Terfel/Malcolm Martineau "Silent Noon"
Vanessa Mae "Choreography"
