Producer and guitarist Jens Gad has teemed up with his Danish compatriot Helene Horlyck to record an album tracking back the history of their Viking roots. Gad, who  already in his co-operations on the last few Enigma-Albums explored the intersection of Classical and Modern music is coming even closer to perfecting his skills on "Achillea": The ethereal, but still characteristic voice of now London-based Horlyck melts with soft beats, tender licks and some medieval samples. Just the right thing to put on when getting home after listening to Mahlers Sixth or Wagner. The album is out now on Prudence/BSC reocrds.
