The Tecchler trio have definitely got things going for them: After winning the German Music Competition in 2004, the Swiss Ensemble was given the chance of recording a CD with the "Ars Musici"-label and their Primavera-series. The album is out now and contains the Piano Trios by Ravel and Tchaikovsky. This wasn't the only prize for these young talents. At the end of last year, they pocketed 25.000 Swiss Francs after their victory at the "Prix Credit Suisses Jeunes Solistes" and only recenty, on April 14th and 15th, they triumphed at the chamber music competition of the "Migros Kulturprozent". And finally, individual member Maximilian Hornung has managed to win the German Music Competition for this year, and will therefor be able to record another CD. It therefore looks like this Trio will soon be gracing the front pages.
