england Noone's treasure search

New CD features 14 previously unreleased pieces by Spanish Reneaissance Master

Michael Noone (lovely british understatement in that name) has been searching for treasures again - and found them. In the Toledo Cathedral archives, the Australian stumbled accross some previously unknown works by Cristobal Morales and Francisco Guerrero. 14 pieces of the former can now be found on the disc "Morales en Toledo". It marks a new high for Noone, who has devoted his (musical) life entirely to the music of the Spanish Renaissance. The rediscovered pieces have also been published by Editorial Alpuerto and Fundacion Caja Madrid.
