Don't let yourself be misled by our title: These two girls are in fact woman enough to stand on their own two feet. Pianist Aurelie Tremblay, who is about to release her solo-CD these days and Judith Kopecky, Soprano with a heart beating for both modern and romantic songs, will join forces on April 14th to collect money for the Orpheus Trust, an organisation that aims to keep alive the memory mainly of artists and scientists that were driven away from their countries and homes during WWII - and to give a second chance to their works. This noble cause is supported by Bösendorfer, who have arranged an evening with beforementioned ladies at the Musikverein/Bösendorfer Stadtsalon, Vienna at 18:00. As befit for the occasion, the programm will consist of songs and solo piano pieces by Jewish composers in exile, such as Franz Mittler, Egon Wellesz, Viktor Urbancic and, most notably, Erich Wolfgang Korngold. All guests are invited to stay for some food and drinks and meet up with Aurelie and Judith. If you're interested, contact Elisabeth Pilwachs at 01/5046651/35 or elisabeth.pilwachs@boesendorfer.com
