Elena Riu starts swinging (again!)
Pianist appears at London's La Linea
Unfortunately we missed out on Elena Rius very own litte festival New
Quays 05, but if we are to believe the press quotations on her website
(and why on earth shouldn't we?), it was a huge success. Now everyone's
treated to a second chance, as invitations go out for London's La Linea
Festival for Latin Music. Cuban Hip-Hop Sensation Orishas will be
appearing, veterans Los Van Van will be kicking off the celebrations in
style on April Fool's Day and Elena will be sharing her vision of "a new
vision of classical piano music" as opening act to Bolero-masters Bebo
Valdes and El Cigala. It's all taking place in the Royal Albert Hall and
tickets are 15-30 Pounds. Don't go wasting this opportunity (again!)
