A short glace at Joan Jeanrenauds calendar reveals that she is as active and
passionate about spreading the word on experimental compositions as ever.
Just back from the Look and Listen Festival in New York, which
presents new music in art galleries, she now has her mind set on the
production of "Jip, His Story" by Katherine Paterson, working with the Marsh
Youth Theater. On June 3rd, she will then be one of the performers in a
concert celebrating Terry Riley , where her hopes go out to performing one
of the latest additions to Rileys catalogue of Cello-pieces. And finally,
Lary Ochs of Rova:Arts has asked her to participate in the premiere of his
latest work (which will also feature the Rova Saxophone Quartet).
