Emily Hay, who apart from practising the flute and composing also likes to
sing and play the piano, as well as hosting radio show "Trilogy" on KXLU,
has sent us her schedule for the next few months. After a few hours of
reading, we are still only halfway, so we decided to keep you up to date for
the next few weeks for starters. On April 16th, she'll be joining the
Ensemble Pacifique on stage in San Diego, CA as part of the Voz Alta
Community empowerment program. She will then appear on BBC's "Mixing it",
one of experimental music's strongholds on the 22nd, a show which you can
listen to on the internet as well as on your radio. Two days later, her
performance on the so cal sonic is due. Find out, what she has to say about
that in our "15 Questions" real soon. And finally for this round of
information, Emily is part of the proceedings at the Thingamajigs Festival
at the Oakland Museum of Art in a collaboration with trombonist/vocalist
Kurt Heyl.
