pt CD Feature/ Moonspell: "Night Eternal"

Deep and extreme singing, oriental rythmics and lovely females vocals: Every new album by Moonspell is a surprise.
Upfront, I have to admit that Moonspell IS my favourite band… but I can also say that I do not like every album they’ve released (ex Butterfly Effect…). If you were now to ask me: “And? What’s with this one?”, I would gladly answer: “Go to your local CD shop and buy yourself a copy!”.

I am really pleased with “Nigth Eternal”. Nonetheless, I had to listen to it at least 3 times to enjoy the best of it. It is full of great Guitars, deep and extreme singing, oriental rythmics and lovely females vocals… ahhh… On “Scorpion Flowers” Ex-“The Gathering” Anneke van Giersbergen performs as a guest. The album constitutes a continuation of “Memorial”, their previous album; so if you liked that one, you´ll love ”Nigth Eternal”.

The Digipack version is great, with an extra DVD, “Live at Wacken Open Air 2007”, 2 clips and a “Making of”. The bonus song of the album is also enjoyable but the 2 others versions of “Scorpion Flowers” are rather useless and boring. Every new album by Moonspell is a surprise, and this time, it’s a good one.
