de Ad Noiseam's Hot Summer

Electronic label keeps the momentum going

Good news for fans of one of modern electronic music's most professional outlets: Berlin-based Ad Noiseam fronted by French visionary Nicolas Chevreux is keeping the engine running. Lately, the label has cleared up its strategy, with less atmospheric, experimental and soundscape releases and a stronger focus on bouncing beats and heavy electronic artillery. Also, the company has strengthened its live activities and established a remarkable media presence in the USA.

Now, a whole bunch of new releases are ready and a lot more merely raring to go. Bong-Ra hits hard with "Grindkrusher", said to be a collision between sharp break-beats and grind-core, possibly the most extreme music form ever to see the face of the earth. "Empire" by Larvae appears to be somewhat friendlier, with melodies and recognisable bass lines joining the drum n bass frenzy. Finally, already mentioned Larvae join Enduser and Shitmat for a CD and a 12inch that will coincide with their European tour, presenting two tracks from each.

From the upcoming new albums selection, we'd like to draw your attention to Detritus second full length, his first being a most welcome selection of intellegent and emotional anthems. Also, the Kilimanjaro Dark Jazz Ensemble will be giving their debut soon (Dutch sound wizard Bong-Ra is behind this one as well), in a style "which you definitely do not expect" (Nicolas' own words).
