Contribute articles
We want to build tokafi.com into an even more dynamic community for Classical and Contemporary Music. To that end, we are looking for submissions for:
Articles
Interviews
Reviews of Net-releases
Would you like to introduce an artist, project or label to our readers? Are you excited about the netlabel scene and the internet as a distribution channel? Do you have an opinion on a current music-related issue? Would you like to publish your report of a music festival you've visited or would like to attend? Then we're interested in hearing from you.
Genres we are interested in: Classical Music, Mediaeval Music, Contemporary Composition, Soundart, Techno, Dub, Drones, Jazz, Experimental Rock and -Metal, (Dark) Ambient.
Submission Format Guidelines: Depending on the subject matter, we are looking for to-the-point texts of between one and two pages' length (reviews may obviously be shorter). No disguised press releases, please. Other than that, we will take care of spacings, ... etc.
Profile: Experience in writing will help, but no degree in journalism, previous publications or any kind of formal training are necessary.
Commitment: You can contribute as often or seldomly as you like. Of course, we are interested in establishing long-term journalistic relations. But if you want to submit something as a one-off, that is fine.
Exclusivity & Rights: We are interested both in exclusive articles, as well as previously published ones – as well as in texts, which you intend to offer to several sites.
Compensation: Currently, we can not offer any monetary payment. We will, however, gladly include your biography, link your article to your homepage and include your name in our list of contributors.
Contact: Email our editor-in-chief Tobias Fischer at tobias@tokafi.com
